Agro India was started by Nitin alias Ravindra Bhosale with help from his wife Mrs. Mrunalini Bhosale in 1995.

Initially 8 international seminars on high tech agriculture were organized at Pune and Bangalore. More than 15 experts from abroad and 30 top Indian experts expressed their views in these seminars.

Some of the International experts were Dr. Suren Apte from the Netherlands, British Engineer Mr. Paul Hudson, expert on organic agriculture Mr. Vikrantha from Sri Lanka, Omnan Offen and Rami Avrahami from Isreal, few experts from the USA & Netherlands also contributed.

Farmer leader and M.P Mr. Sharad Joshi, Former central cabinet minister Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Appeeda chairman Mr. Gokul Patnaik, present Chairman of NABARD Mr. Umeshchandra Sarangi, other chairmen and MDs of Indian Corporates also took part in these seminars.

Lecture videos of these seminars were inaugurated  by present Prime Minister of India, Dr.Manmohan Singh. These videos were distributed in 12 countries.  Click here for more details and pictures of this event.

India’s first video cassette on Agriculture was produced by Agro India. Educating farmers by Audio cassettes was pioneered in India by Agro India. More than 1,00,000 audio cassettes on 24 subjects were sold in Maharashtra. Agro India has organized 3 mega Agri-Exhibitions at Amravati (Maharashtra), Burhanpur (M.P) and Chandigarh. More than 3,00,000 farmers visited these exhibitions.

Agro India has organized more than 200 one-day seminars for farmers in Maharashtra & M.P.
