Chief minister gives jobs on compassionate grounds

Pandharpur (June 30) Chief minister Eknath Shinde handed over appointment orders under compassionate grounds to various beneficiaries during his visit under ‘Government at Your Doorstep’ programme. The work under this scheme is going on with speed in Solapur district and so far 1.25 lakh persons have been provided benefit of the scheme.

            The programme organized at Government Rest House was attended by Revenue Minister and guardian minister of Solapur Radhakrishna Vikhe-Patil, minister for health Tanaji Savant, legislator Bharat Gogawale, district collector Milind Shambharkar, Zilla Parishad CEO Dilip Swamy, additional collector Tushar Thombare, RDC Shama Pawar and others. 

            Stating that through ‘Government at Your Doorstep,’ the information about various Government schemes and their benefits is being conveyed to people by the administration effectively, the chief minister said that the state Government made an announcement of giving 75 thousand jobs and the state Cabinet is reviewing it from time-to-time. He said that the ‘Government at Your Doorstep’ was providing all types of certificates under one roof and schemes were being conveyed effectively to people ultimately benefiting the common people in the state and hence it is receiving a huge response.

            Stating that the state Government comprises common man, the CM said that the Government takes due care of health of common man and as far as Pandharpur pilgrimage is concerned, due care of pilgrims is being taken through Mega-Health Camps during the pilgrimage.

            In Solapur district collector office, there were 59 candidates from category C and D from among the waiting list of compassionate ground candidate’s list since January 1st 2023 who are given appointment letters so far. As per Government policy and the decision of filling up 75 thousand posts during the 75th year of Independence, this program of handing over appointment letters to candidates on compassionate grounds was organized.
